Jones decribes it as Paradigm shift.
I've come back after Christmas and I have returned my post modern literature to the library. Have I made such a paradigm shift? Have changed my principles form artistic to scientific?
As part of my research into professional development I am currently undertaking a systematic review of research into professional development. I am looking for a substantial empirical platform for professional learning theory. My hypothesis is that, professional learning theory is not based on empirical evidence. Within the last sentences my paradigm shift might be evident. I acknowledge the scientific positivistic implications of a search for empirical foundations.
On the other hand I still see the importance of post modernity in terms of indentity. Our narrative no paradigmatic sense making and the lack of a grand narrative.
I suppose it has meant the change from a relativit psotion to that of informed relativist. Or an emprical realtivist.
In addtion I have shifted throught he following from action research to ethnograpgy t case study
